Terms of Service

The rules of using Mimu

By using Mimu you agree to these terms. Please read them — they describe what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

Effective 28 May 2026

1. Who we are

"Mimu" (the "Service", "we", "us") is a 1:1 live video calling platform owned and operated by Peter Gangmei, sole proprietor of Mimu Entertainment, registered under the Delhi Shops & Establishment Act, 1954 (Registration No. 2026047297), with principal place of business at H3 Panchsheel Vihar, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi - 110017 (the "Proprietor").

These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and the Proprietor. By creating an account, downloading the Mimu app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Mimu.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use Mimu. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If we have reason to believe you are under 18, we will suspend or terminate your account.

Mimu is intended for users in jurisdictions where the Service is lawful. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Mimu complies with your local laws.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at peter@mimu.online if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person may hold only one Mimu account. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

4. The Service

Mimu connects users ("Viewers") with independent hosts ("Hosts") for private 1:1 video calls. Calls are operated through third-party real-time communication infrastructure. Mimu facilitates the connection and processes the payment; we are not a party to the conversation between you and a Host.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you for any such change.

5. Coins, payments, and pricing

Mimu uses a virtual currency called coins. Coins can be purchased through the Mimu app via the Apple App Store, Google Play, or any other payment method we offer. Coins are consumed per minute during a call at the rate set by the Host you connect with.

Coins are a prepaid digital good. They are not legal tender, have no cash value, are non-transferable between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other consideration. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: once coins are credited to your wallet, they are not refundable. Refunds are only issued where payment was deducted but coins were not credited.

6. User conduct

You agree NOT to use Mimu to:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or impersonate any other person.
  • Transmit or solicit sexually explicit content involving minors, non-consenting persons, or in violation of applicable law.
  • Share another user's personal information without their consent.
  • Record, screenshot, or redistribute any call without the other party's explicit consent.
  • Solicit money outside the Mimu platform, attempt to take a Host or Viewer off-platform, or run any scheme designed to evade our payment system.
  • Use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
  • Upload viruses, malicious code, or content that infringes any third-party intellectual property right.
  • Engage in any activity that violates Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of any remaining coin balance, and reporting to law enforcement where required.

7. Hosts

Hosts are independent users, not employees, agents, or partners of the Proprietor. Hosts must complete identity and age verification before going live. Hosts set their own rates and are responsible for the content they share during a call. Host payouts are governed by a separate Host Payout Policy made available inside the app.

8. Reporting and moderation

If you experience or witness conduct that violates these Terms, please use the in-app Report button or email peter@mimu.online. We reserve the right — but not the obligation — to investigate reports, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts.

Where required by Indian law, we may share information with law enforcement or government authorities.

9. Intellectual property

The Mimu name, logo, app, website, and all related materials are owned by the Proprietor and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you create (such as your profile, photos, and bio), but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and use such content as reasonably necessary to operate the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any specific Host will be available at any given time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Proprietor's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to Mimu in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is lower.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Proprietor, its representatives, and service providers from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Mimu and delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing peter@mimu.online. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or applicable law, or if continuing to provide you the Service would expose us to legal risk.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Any unused coin balance may be forfeited where termination is for breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page. Material changes will be notified inside the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
